Unity Day Leeds is an annual event held in Hyde Park Leeds during July. Leeds Unity Day officially named Hyde Park Unity Day is a celebration of multi-culture, community and a peaceful offering for all of the public to be as one in idyllic park surroundings on the edge of Headingley town and Leeds city centre. Enjoyed by students, families, pets, local business plus causes and charity!
At Hyde Park Unity Day, you will find street food pop-ups offering an array of world cuisine to include vegetarian options. DJ gigs, bands and artists together with local causes, campaigns and incentives. The celebrations run until 7pm for one day each year.
The highlight for us was spotting a friendly dance floor drone plus discovering The Junk Food project (pay what you can afford) eating concept. More on that soon by Elegant Hippy. As for the ‘mystery’ drone, see above vid!
